Gardening Mysteries by author Laurel Schunk, writing under the name Kate
Cameron. Her two loves — gardening and writing — come together in this
series of books. Schunk learned much of what she knows about gardening
from her mother, who was an avid gardener. A Baby Boomer like Callie,
Schunk gardens for fun and relaxation. She also enjoys visiting famous
gardens when she travels and, like Callie, finds it hard to say
"no" when someone asks her to take in a dog or cat. Schunk uses
a pen-name for this series to acknowledge that its style is lighter than
her other books.
